CBI Interactive Conference British Energy stepped up its low carbon campaign by taking a platform at the annual CBI Interactive Conference and CT-Live was right behind them in co-ordinating its business solutions for climate change. We created a private CEO debate on carbon disclosure with guests including Paul Dickinson, CEO of the Carbon Disclosure Project, Richard Lambert, Director-General of the CBI and Greg Barker MP, Shadow Minister for the Environment.
As a sponsor, British Energy had prime position within the auditorium and guests to the stand were taken through a touchscreen carbon calculator created by CT-Live. Set in a freestanding kiosk, the calculator allowed delegates to calculate and compare their company’s carbon emissions through different energy providers. |

Festival of British EventingThe British Energy sponsorship of the Dressage displays at Gatcombe Park, spectacular home of the Princess Royal, was a resounding success and once again CT-Live was at the heart of the organisation. Click here for the full story. To cancel or not to cancel was the question that faced the event organisers and its sponsors of the 25th anniversary horse trials event in light of the English floods. Diligence prevailed and the event surpassed all expectations. Capt Mark Phillips opened the British Energy hospitality where key clients and their families are entertained in a unique hospitality setting organised by CT-Live. This is no ordinary hospitality. Children were taught grooming skills by teams from the Shetland Pony Grand National whilst the adults were regaled with dressage anecdotes from Lucinda Green, champion British equestrian rider.

2007 Low Carbon World a resounding success ... At the close of the Low Carbon World Conference organised by CT-Live on April 26th at the Royal Geographical Society in London, 93% of the business leaders present pledged their commitment to measure their organisation’s CO2 impact and 95% would meet challenging targets for reductions in carbon emissions. From the success of the event, CT-Live worked with the principal stakeholders, Quintain Estates & Development, to create a charity, the Sustainable Environment Foundation, and develop and implement the follow up conference in 2008.
