Case Study - Low Carbon World - Quintain Estates and Development
Brief
With urban regeneration at the forefront of its business, Quintain, a listed UK property company, has aspirations to lead a green industrial revolution in an urban environment. CT-Live was appointed to take one of the first steps in this journey and create an inspirational public conference.
Solution
As organisers, we were responsible at a strategic level for the conference content and speakers as well as event management including venue finding, production, online delegate registration, sponsorship, and key stakeholder liaison and logistics. Sustainability was at the forefront of CT-Live’s entire campaign and the event was held for successive years at the Royal Geographical Society, London.
James Naughtie, BBC Radio 4 added the gravitas as conference chair and high profile politicians, environmentalists, industrialists and social leaders were sourced to debate the initiatives from across the globe.
Results
The conference attracted over 500 paying delegates in successive years; as a non profit event, the proceeds went into the development of the Sustainable Environment Foundation, a charity founded to promote public awareness of, and research into, the role played by the built environment in climate change. “CT-Live took the role of conference management to new heights. They ordered our thoughts, developed our strategies, brought order to chaos and did it all with huge flair and style. Our Low Carbon World conferences would not have happened without them”. Adrian Wyatt, CEO, Quintain Estates and Development PLC.
